So far, I’m loving it. The battery is still quite weak but is improving all the time, and is already lasting all day, a feat my Samsung Omnia only managed after several weeks of total-charge, total-discharge, and its fast too, only taking a couple of hours.
I got an RSS reader sorted, finally plumping for the paid app FeedR. After some fun and games attempting to import the .opml file from my old phone I eventually gave up and emailed the program author who responded within the hour and after a few emails back and forth very kindly reformatted the file into one FeedR can understand and mailed it back to me! Fantastic.
The phone itself (Sony Ericsson Xperia 10) seems very solidly built and running wireless functions like wi-fi or GPS hardly seem to run the battery down at all. Battery life is further improved by turning the screen brightness right down, and even on that setting it’s possible to see it on a sunny day.
