Landed Underclass has by far the most succinct, simple-to-understand assessment of the situation we find ourselves in today that i have ever read. I especially like the part:
And the ex-Communists discovered that their countries had, while they had been worrying about the Teller-Ulam Configuration and the Capitalist Encirclement, been taken over by the Mafia, in whose hands they largely remain, but about whom the people there would very much like to do something, only they’re not sure what.
And we discovered that our countries had, while we were worrying about Sakharov’s Second Idea and the Domino Theory, been taken over by the intelligence services, the political police and the military-industrial complex, in whose hands they largely remain, but about whom we do nothing at all.
Keep it up!
